SEOUL, South Korea — Seoul officials said Monday they’ve lodged a formal complaint with Beijing accusing Chinese fishing boats of ramming and sinking a South Korean coast guard vessel.

韩国首尔——首尔官员周一表示,他们已经向北京提出正式抗议指责中国渔船撞沉了一艘韩国海岸警卫队船只。

The sinking happened on Friday when South Korean coast guard officers were trying to stop about 40 Chinese fishing boats from suspected illegal fishing off South Korea’s west coast. No causalities or injuries were reported, according to South Korea’s coast guard.

沉没发生在周五，当时韩国海岸警卫队人员试图阻止大约40艘涉嫌在韩国西海岸非法捕鱼的中国渔船。没有伤亡事件的报告，根据韩国的海岸警卫队的说法。

One coast guard officer was on the South Korean vessel rammed by two Chinese boats before he jumped into the water and was rescued by his colleagues. Eight fellow coast guard officers boarded a Chinese boat for an inspection, the coast guard said in a statement.

两艘中国渔船撞击了这艘韩国警卫队船只，当时船上的只有一名韩国军官，他跳下水被同事救起。当时其八名韩国军官同事登上了一艘中国渔船进行检查，海岸警备队在声明中说道。

South Korea needs to bring a gun to a gun fight! South Korea should also use steel hulled ships and stop using sampans to interdict the illegal fishing by China.

韩国应该作出实际的回击！韩国也应该用钢铁船而不是小船来阻止中国的非法捕捞。

China keeps threatening and harassing the sovereignty of other nations. 
This can not keep going on. The U.S. and all the countries around China should just sink every single Chinese boat until China gets the message that the international community will not tolerate China's madman behavior anymore.

中国不断威胁和侵害其他国家的主权。
不能再这样继续下去了。美国和中国所有邻国应该击沉中国所有渔船，直到中国意识到国际社会不会再继续容忍中国的疯狂行径。

I would think that the SK Coast Guard Vessel Commander is going to have some explaining to do as having his vessel sunk by 2 Chinese fishing boats is pretty embarrassing. How did those boats get within 100 yrds of the coast guard ship without some heavy machine gun fire? While searching the boat they had stopped, someone should have been watching the other boats!D

我觉得韩国警卫队长官应该作出解释，一艘警卫船只竟然被两艘中国渔船撞沉，这太令人尴尬了。在渔船接近自己100码距离之内时韩国警备船都不进行重型机关枪扫射的？在截停检查其中一艘渔船时，应该监视其他渔船的一举一动！

Just sinking a vessel is not enough. China must kill 4 S. Koreans to get even.

Why don't you try shooting at the damn things.. You are the coast guard correct??? Don't feel too bad the west does nothing either. We think that being strong offended and complaining will help.. But these other nations don't respect that, they respect action. Stop bowing to these other nations, grow a pair and do something about it!

为什么不射击，你可是海岸警卫队吖，不是吗？？不要感觉自己很糟糕，西方也没干出什么事。我们以为愤怒和抱怨就会有用。。。但是这些国家可不在乎，只有采取了行动他们才知道厉害。不要再对其他国家卑躬屈膝了，拿出点干实事的勇气来。

South Korea is on its own now as the Philippines jump ship and decide to become allies of the Chinese; meaning SK will get more "attention" from Beijing and North Korea. Next move-watch for the Chinese build a base on a reef inside of Pearl Harbor; Kerry will demand talks on the matter.

Chinese fishing boats are invading Indonesia's waters and they are seizing and sinking them. A Chinese fishing boat rammed an Indonesian vessel there, too.
