(Yicai Global) July 31 -- China intends to hire Filipina domestic service workers in five big cities including Beijing Shanghai and Xiamen and has promised to pay them high wages per a report issued by the Philippines Department of Labor and Employment.

The two sides are studying the possibility of paying a monthly salary of USD1950 (100000 pesos -- about CNY13000 yuan) to governesses from the Philippines.

A Chinese delegation will visit the country in September to talk further about sending Filipina domestic workers to China the official media Global Times reported July 31.

One factor prompting Chinese to hire Filipinas as domestic workers is their English mastery which is helpful in enhancing children’s English proficiency said an official of the Philippines’ Department of Labor and Employment. Also “Filipinas are also gentler than nannies from other countries.” Filipina domestic workers are senior servants from the Philippines that is domestic service professionals. Civil adept at English and known as “the world’s most professional nannies” Filipina domestic workers represent a famous brand in the world domestic industry with global footprints.

Chinese still has a big tradition of respect your elder regardless of them being worthy of respect or not. Ayis tend to exploit this thinking they know better than you because they are older. It also doesn't help that many of them were part of the lost generation and then newer youger Ayis took over these bad habbits. They don't get the concept of I pay your salary so do as you are told.
Filippina domestic help on the other hand question far less are proficient at their job know who pays their salary and know that if they do a good job they will have a long time gig.
And no this is not some twisted Western point of view. The fact that Chinese are willing to pay 15k RMB/month to a Filippina maid but only 3 to 5k RMB/month to a Chinese Ayi says it all.

even in HK not everyone affords 3.85k extra spending a month plus food and a room a month.

You can literally get a white teacher to clean your house at that price. Anyone paying 15k for a Filipina maid in China is a retarded tuhao. I know a couple Filipina maids and they arent even getting paid 8k.

That's a lot of money good for them but "Monthly Wages of USD1950 Likely" sounds instead unlikely.
