Chinese people don’t hate Indians, unlike Chinese State run media.

One thing I learned from my traveling days in China is never trust any media, everything you see is propaganda and one side view.

1. I love my Chinese friends and they love me equally, where ever I went in China I got the very good welcome.
2. The hospitality I received is nothing less than kerala trip and mallu friends.
3. Chinese are very busy with their work and what ever govt does Chinese feel it is for benefit of people, by doing this CPC(Chinese Communist Party) got the support of common people.

我在中国旅行时学到的一件事就是永远不要相信任何媒体，你看到的一切都是宣传和片面的观点。

1.我爱我的中国朋友，他们也同样爱我，我在中国的任何地方都受到了欢迎。

3 中国人忙于他们的工作，无论什么政府，中国人都觉得它是为了人民的利益，党得到了普通人民的支持。

Finally, What I want to say is Chinese people don’t hate Indians and they don’t love too much, just they ignore india just how Indians ignore about vietnam, philiphenes.

Someone asked - why that guy is always crying, whenever I see him.

He was replied back - No that guy is not crying always, actually "his face is like that". Because of which he looks like crying always.

Now, on a serious note, it is the Chinese mindset in basic habits. They have "border issues" all around there periphery, whether at land or at sea. Even Chinese people in person, are always different from most of the world. An average Chinese always considers him different and superior than the rest of the world.

有人问——为什么那家伙总是哭，每当我看到他。

Yes, it is the very basic nature of China. . . . . . . . . .if you look at their history, unlike India, many of Chinese emperors have been ruling a huge piece of land on the northern side of Himalyas.

The land where neither the Indian rulers/Kings, nor the invaders from West mostly made a move to capture the region. There is a very-very big piece of land right above north of India, which even today has bare minimum of population. Simply because the reason that habitation is very difficult over there, unlike the eastern part of China, which is too hostile for human growth and survival.

First one, that the population of the region had the least amount of interaction and adulteration with the rest of the world. Making there mindset firm that they are the superior 'race' compared to the others in the world.

Secondly, the rulers and the people of the land also started believing that the entire region can not be occupied/ruled over by any other race/community of the world.

This what is reflecting in the current national policy of the Chinese government, under which they are eyeing upon not only the eastern parts of India, but also various Russians regions, Mongolia, Korea, Vietnam and so on.

As per them, they do not want to invade India, they want their piece of land back.

Which is definitely not true as per our mindset -- because if so, than not only Burma, Indonesia, Thailand instead all the regions of the world which have ever been Hindu or Buddhist, should be under Indian flag.

01-01-2017 - OMG, India has given one more reason to the Chinese communist rulers, to hate India, by bringing the whole of China (openly) in the range of Agni-V, even if its launched from the southern tip of India.

Isn't that scary for China. The nation who always believes in threatening USA and daring Russia, is getting dared by India.

I don’t think China hate India purposely. China doesn’t like rise of alternate center of power in Asia. China was called middle kingdom in ancient time. They are following their old tradition in which Chinese used to think that they were the center of whole world.

People’s republic of China has been an expansionist state from the beginning. After winning the civil war, they claimed all the areas which were under control of previous Chinese Empire at any point of history. But they faced some roadblocks like India and Vietnam and China fought boarder war with both countries in 1962 and 1979 respectively. Till recently hey could not have asserted claim on South China sea due to American domination of Asia. Today China claims territory of 23 nations.

India is not ready to accept Chinese claim some Indian states of Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh and its neighboring country Bhutan. India refused to buckle during 1967 and 1987 boarder clashes and as of today Indian soldiers are standing firmly against PLA in Bhutan for over 1 month. China is trying to deter India with all kind of threats but Indian stand has not changed. India is the only country which has opposed OBOR openly. China want some sort of client/vassal or friendly sates on its boarder like Pakistan and India wants to be treated a equal power. This is the main reason of Chinese hate towards India.

But even though China hate us, they are happy in selling more than 60 Billion dollars of goods to India annually. Chinese firms are investing billions of dollars in India. Remember China hates India diplomatically & politically not economically.

Absolutely not!

Firstly, China is one of the world’s major military powers and of course is a major trade economy. The Chinese government may have differences over several issues with India but they also respect India as India is also a major military power and a large economy growing fast! Remember, Strength respects Strength!

Secondly, Chinese people do not hate India or Indians as well. In fact, they are one of the hardest working people on the planet. They don’t have time to hate others, they rather focus on concentrating on their own welfare and progress as we’ve seen how Chinese have pulled themselves out of poverty over time and have become a major supplier of finished goods to the world, thus becoming a leading manufacturing force in the world.

India is one of the major trading partners of China and the growth in trade and strategic partnership on numerous fronts is in deep interests of both nations for mutual peace and prosperity.

Neither India nor China hate each other. They have differences, yes, but they also know that working with each other is in mutual interest and benefit for long term

In 2015, India was for the first time the leading country ($63 billion) in the World for FDI, overtaking China (USD 56.6 billion) and the US ($59.6 billion). This has set the alarm bells ringing in the Chinese establishment.

China hates India, that's a fact no amount of diplomatic sugarcoating can hide. Various reasons can be put for it.

Territorial :- there is a school of thought which believes that China wants the border dispute with India to perpetuate. That gives China a chance to portray India as a regional player with mediocre diplomatic capabilities across its borders. The facts given in. support of this theory are :-(a) Chinese stand on boundaries have been anything but constant over decades. China hates when the west tout India as a future competitor to China. And as of now, China is not wrong either. Chinese are richer, healthier, more educated better skilled,stronger. China pulled 700million people out of poverty in a matter of decades, an astonishing feat without parallel in human history.

But success should make you humble,not haughty. And certainly not into an irritable and impulsive kid.

Why China hates India can be found by studying the circumstances surrounding the two ‘Opium wars’ and the Treaty of Nanking. Due to the then British rule in India, Indian soldiers were sent to China to fight the Chinese as opium, the root cause of the conflict was grown in India by the East India Company and was forced upon the Chinese so that they (The company) can profit from it. Naturally the Chinese did not like this and they reacted against it.

The ease with which the British forces defeated the numerically superior Chinese armies damaged the Qing dynasty's prestige. The Treaty of Nanking was a step to opening the lucrative Chinese market to global commerce and the opium trade. The interpretation of the war, which was long the standard in the People's Republic of China, was summarized in 1976: The Opium War, "in which the Chinese people fought against British aggression, marked the beginning of modern Chinese history and the start of the Chinese people's bourgeois-democratic revolution against imperialism and feudalism (Wikipidea First Opium War - Wikipedia).

The opium war was one of the main causes of the Boxer rebellion which was also suppressed, thus increasing the level of hatred to the British Empire and by extension, India.

This has been China’s policy with many other Asian nations as well , Japan , Vietnam , South Korean and many more.

India is guaranteed to overtake China , in both Economic and Military factions and is a potential Super Power.

These factors combined are responsible for China’s Hatred towards India.

The presumption of the question is very wrong. Both the countries don’t hate each other.

In both the countries, there are two entities, the government and the common people. Masses from both the countries are very welcoming and friendly towards each other while the government of both the countries see each other as a competition at global stage. I don't think that's true.

China is relatively far more developed at this point in time than India and aims to challenge the USA for a superpower.

China is rather playing the bad boy who has grown up healthier than other kids, and tries to scare them off, be it NSG forum, south China Sea, Arunachal Pradesh, or blocking India's moves at UN.

Indian traders mainly Parsee merchants ran the opium trade for the British. Opium was grown in India and market was China. Hate is a strong word.I don’t think China hates India.But I do think China is way more ambitious to become a global superpower than India.I do believe that they want to usurp or at least be equal to the Unites States and be global power.The only way to do that would be to thwart other country’s which have the potential to slow them India.India definitely falls under this category and will also compete for resources. In fact I travel and do business with China past 20 years the Chinese people love Indian people more than any other Indian people.

Most of the relationship from people to people is wonderful and great.

Cultural and economic relations between China and India date back to ancient times. The Silk Road not only served as a major trade route between India and China, but is also credited for facilitating the spread of Buddhism from India to East Asia. During the 19th century, China's growing opium trade with the British Raj triggered the First and Second Opium Wars. During World War II, India and China both played a crucial role in halting the progress of Imperial Japan.

Relations between contemporary China and India have been characterised by border disputes, resulting in three military conflicts — the Sino-Indian War of 1962, the Chola incident in 1967, and the 1987 Sino-Indian skirmish. However, since the late 1980s, both countries have successfully rebuilt diplomatic and economic ties. In 2008, China became India's largest trading partner and the two countries have also extended their strategic and military relations.
