# The likelihood of a war between India & China is slim, even though local conflicts are possible at few locations.

as both govts. are rational and reasonable enough not to escalate it
both leaders have long term visions for their countries and a war would ruin it

I do not think there will be war. There is so much at stake for the China economically with India, for it to risk everything by having even a minor border skirmish. China is in serious trouble economically and needs all the trade it can get. They know that Modi will have no option but to boycott Chinese goods in the event of a war. China just cannot afford that.

We all know OBOR is just an opportunity to give business to Chinese companies , with loans at concessional rates to the countries involved from the Chinese Govt coffers, which they hope to recover over a period of time.

And lastly if there is a war US and Russia will support India and put pressure on China to desist. All the neighbours who have problems with China will also root for India.

So while China will keep irritating India by supporting Pakistan and creating scenes along the LAC , war or even skirmishes involving firing are unlikely.

我觉得中印不会爆发战争。哪怕是小小的边界冲突，都有可能对中国经济造成破坏。

中国经济陷入了麻烦，需要贸易来维持。

一旦爆发战争，莫迪将别无选择，只能抵制中国货，而这是中国无法承受的

还有，一旦爆发战争，美国和俄罗斯会支持印度，对中国施压。

与中国存在边界纠纷的国家也会支持印度

中国会支持巴基斯坦，让其给印度挠痒痒，但是不大可能爆发战争，哪怕是冲突也不大可能

If you are asking militarily, technically ‘No one’ will support India! Many countries will call for peaceful resolution of the conflict and some will offer to mediate in talks. Nothing more.. Virtually India have to go alone in the war !

军事上，没有哪个国家会支持印度的！

许多国家会呼吁和平解决冲突，有些国家会居中调停。最多就这样了。

真正打仗，印度只能靠自己了！

In context of powerful countries if we see past records India has good ties with Rusia and Japan so these 2 will support India and can’t say anything about US since present scenario indicates that how Narendra Modi formed relations with US most probably it will be with India.Israel which is all time friend of India and also present visit of our PM has shown that these 2 countries will never be apart with each other

Now about pakistan everyone knows whom it will support.North korea also has good relations with china it will support them
