I don't think she is. India ,and Indians, normally play safe. So why go all out and risk war with a country you cannot attack? Mind you,I think we can very well defend ourselves in spite of our armed forces being considerably behind the Chinese.

If ever there is a war there can only be two outcomes: stalemate or mutual annihilation. China cannot venture deep inside india,despite their impressive on-paper-and untested might. The other is something beyond imagination.

As far as the US is concerned,there are disagreements. But those disagreements do not concern any immediate land or major disputes . Moreover,both have a mutual 'adversary’ in sight

为什么要冒险进攻一个你打不得的国家呢？

The question is based on a false assumption.

China is afraid of India, not the other way. Recently, China has threatened the US but extended the hand of friendship to India. And the US military is basically a non-entity. It has lost wars in Korea, Afghanistan, and Vietnam — all countries MUCH smaller and much less powerful than India. The only time the US military has won a war, using ONLY its own men and weapons, since July 4, 1776, is in Grenada. The population of Grenada, at the time, was under 100,000 — less than the number of visitors at Disney World, in Florida, on any given day.

In the end, winning wars is what counts. Having more weapons, more manpower, and more money than the rest of the world, is useless, if the military always loses. Currently, the US is the most indebted country in the world. And, while US defense spending decreases, Indian defense spending increases. India fears no country but many countries — including China and USA — fear India

The U.S. on the other hand has no reason to threaten India and is in fact increasing a military partnership primarily because of China’s unpredictable nature.
