MEXICO CITY: A powerful earthquake centered near the resort of Huatulco shook southern and central Mexico on Tuesday. There were no immediate reports of the extend of damage or injury.

墨西哥城：周二，墨西哥南部和中部发生强烈地震，震中位于度假胜地瓦图尔科附近。目前还没有关于损毁程度和人员伤亡的报告。

The US Geologic Survey said the quake that hit at 10:29am (11:29 am Eastern) had a magnitude of 7.4 and was centered along the Pacific coast of Oaxaca state.

美国地质调查局表示，地震发生在上午10点29分(东部时间上午11点29分)，震级为7.4，震中位于瓦哈卡州的太平洋沿岸。
