China plans to launch a futuristic, re-usable 'space plane' for the first time in 2020, according to Chinese media reports.

The vehicle is designed to carry heavy payloads into orbit more than 20 times over its lifetime and will be capable of daily launches.

Unlike many spacecraft, the new vehicle will have wings and launch into the air from a runway like a traditional aircraft, the reports claim.

Like our space shuttle which eventually became redundant. Good for China, they're taking the steps needed.

Who needs rockets and space? In USA we have something much better: Political Corectness. We lowered the education standards, everybody gets an A in school, we've eliminated high school exit exams, everybody graduates, everybody goes to college!!! The fact that many graduates can't even sign their diplomas is not relevant, what's important is that all bunch of minorities with no academic inclination whatsoever are getting a PhD in Science! Who cares about space flying? As Americans, we are full of $$$, we can always buy the technology from China if our minorities want to explore the moon on a government paid field trip. Long live equality, it's the only thing that matters!

I still say a space elevator would be the best option for carrying heavy payloads into space, they don't have to be a permanent structure just a strong tether to a heavy object in space
