NEW DELHI: India "must stop intervening in Male", said state-owned Chinese media in an editorial today, about the political crisis in the Maldives.

新德里：中国国家媒体在今天的一篇社论中称，印度“必须停止对马尔代夫的干预”，这是马尔代夫的政治危机。

The island nation's embattled President Abdulla Yameen declared a state of emergency there this week and ordered the arrest of top judges and a former president.

深陷危机的马尔代夫总统亚明本周宣布该国进入紧急状态 ，并下令逮捕高级法官和前总统。

India today said it was "disturbed" by the declaration of an emergency by the government there and described as a matter of "concern" the arrests of the Justice and political figures.
China isn't happy with India's response.

印度今天表示，马尔代夫政服宣布的紧急状态让其“不安”

"Political struggles are supposed to be internal affairs, and New Delhi has no justification to intervene in Male's affairs. The Maldives must be under huge pressure from India," said an editorial in Global Times, a publication of China's Communist Party.

《环球时报》在一篇社论中表示：“马尔代夫的政治斗争本来是其内政……印度没有理由干涉……想必马尔代夫当下承受着来自印度的巨大压力。”

If those are internal affairs, why are chingos opening their mouths? Those should be internal affairs of Maldive and India. I personally think that if India intervenes militarily, chingos would too. Maldives will get flooded with Chinamen. Any military action by India would invite Chinese military and India should be prepared for that before sending Indian military to maldives. Pak would get involved too in some shape or form.
