印度驻华大使：“中国不该无视印度对中巴经济走廊的担忧”

BEIJING: India's ambassador to China, Gautam Bambawale, has said Beijing should pay serious attention to New Delhi's concerns about the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and not ignore them.

北京：印度驻华大使班巴瓦尔（Gautam Bambawale）表示，北京应认真关注新德里对中巴经济走廊的担忧，而不是无视。

"The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor passes through Indian-claimed territory (POK) and hence violates our territorial integrity. This is amajor problem for us," he told China's state-run 'Global Times' in a hard-hitting interview.

在接受《环球时报》采访时，他说：“中巴经济走廊穿越印度主张的领土（巴控克什米尔），侵犯了我们的领土主权。这对我们来说是个重大问题。”

Bambawale seemed to convey a stern message from New Delhi that Beijing could not hope to tap the Indian market and enhance economic ties if it continued to ignore Indian concerns over sovereignty.

班巴瓦尔似乎传达了新德里的一条严厉信息：如果中国继续无视印度对主权的担忧，那么北京就不能指望开拓印度市场，加强经济联系。

"India sells pharmaceuticals and IT products all over the world, but not in China. Why? For 20 years, we have been asking for the Chinese market to be opened for our pharmaceutical and IT products and services," he said, adding, "...To no avail. What do we make of this? We should discuss such issues frankly but also take steps to resolve them."

“印度在全球各地销售药品和IT产品，唯独缺少中国。为什么呢？二十年来，我们一直呼吁中国为我们的药物和IT产品开放市场，但都无济于事。我们要怎么做？我们应该坦率讨论这些问题，也要采取必要措施解决它们。”

Chinese are least bothered about any of these. Unless this reflected by our total rejection of Chinese made products, it is not going to have any impact. Common Indians are too shameless. Look at the craze for buying Chinese mobiles whenever there is a sale announced by online stores. Xiaomi has overtaken Samsung sale and Chinese products are on the top here. Whenever there is a conflict, we Indians react harshly online but hardly do anything to reflect our anger in reality. If only all of us en-mass boycott Chinese products imports will come to an end.
