报告称，中国5年内让6800多万人摆脱了贫困

BEIJING: China has lifted 68.53 million people out of poverty over the past five years after Chinese President  took power, according to a report.

根据报告，过去5年中国已经让6853万人摆脱了贫困。

The country's poverty rate dropped from 10.2 per cent in 2012 to 3.1 per cent in 2017 which is an impressive progress in poverty reduction, it said.

该国贫困率从2012年的10.2%下降到2017年的3.1%，在消除贫困方面取得了惊人进展。

China aims to eliminate absolute poverty by 2020 as part of the creation of a moderately prosperous society.

中国目标是2020年消除绝对贫困，这是全面建设小康社会的一部分。

China says it lifted over 600 million people above poverty in the last three decades.

中国称，过去30年让6亿人摆脱了贫困。
