KATHMANDU: Making further inroads into Nepal, China has set up a solar power generating system which is now illuminating the famous Singha Durbar - the government's main administrative building complex which also houses the Prime Minister's Office.

加德满都：中国进一步进军尼泊尔，建立了一个太阳能发电系统，该系统照亮了著名的辛哈杜巴王宫——政服的主要行政大楼，也就是总理办公室的所在地。

China had in January donated over 32,000 solar power generating systems to Nepal to enhance its domestic capacity and to provide electricity to communities, who had been without power since the devastating 2015 earthquake.

今年1月，中国向尼泊尔捐赠了3.2万多套太阳能发电系统，以增强其发电能力，并向社区提供电力。自2015年毁灭性地震以来，这些社区一直没有恢复电力供应。

Under the China-aided Solar Photovoltaic Project, solar panels have been installed on the roof of 21 buildings of the Singha Durbar which included the Prime Minister's Office, the ministry of finance and the ministry of energy, among others.

中国资助的太阳能光伏项目，21栋建筑屋顶安装了太阳能电池板，其中包括总理办公楼、财政部和能源部等部门的楼顶。

The project, which started in November 2016, was completed in 14-month time.

One megawatt electricity generated through solar panels have started illuminating the central administrative offices from yesterday, officials said today.

官员们表示，从昨天开始，通过太阳能板产生的一兆瓦电力已经开始照亮中央行政办公室。

Nepal's Prime Minister, KP Sharma Oli and Chinese ambassador to Nepal, Yu Hong on Tuesday jointly inaugurated the solar power generating system installed at the central secretariat of the Nepali government.

尼泊尔总理奥利与中国驻尼泊尔大使、中国驻尼泊尔大使于红周二一起启动了在尼泊尔政服中央秘书处安装的太阳能发电系统。

Oli stressed that the solar technology was important and crucial for the mountain country like Nepal for the modernisation of agriculture and the operation of small and large scale industries.

奥利强调，太阳能技术对于像尼泊尔这样的山地国家的农业现代化和小型、大型工业的运作是至关重要的。

"It is necessary for Nepal to end dependence on traditional electricity sources for energy needs. Though we are rich in water resources, sole dependence on hydropower is costly. Thus, we are focusing on renewable energy," the prime minister said.

总理表示，“尼泊尔有必要结束对传统电力资源的依赖，以满足能源需求。虽然我们水资源丰富，但单纯依靠水力发电是很昂贵的。因此，我们把重点放在可再生能源上。”

"Solar energy is important for the mountainous country like Nepal in terms of efficiency and cost. I am thankful to China for the construction of this solar photovoltaic project in a short period of time and hopeful that this project can work as a model project for other areas," Oli was quoted as saying by the China's state-run news agency Xinhua.

奥利接受中国官方媒体新华社采访时表示，“从效率与成本上考虑，太阳能对于尼泊尔这样多山的国家来说非常重要。我感谢中国在较短时间完成太阳能光伏项目建设，并希望该项目能够作为其它地区的示范项目。”

The power generated by the around Rs 600 million project would be linked to the national grid, according to officials.

官员们表示，发电量大约价值6亿卢比，将与国家电网相连。

Oli said that once such programmes were expanded to other places, it could help boost development in the country.

奥利表示，这些项目一旦推广到其它地区，将有助于促进尼泊尔的发展。

Solar energy is very useful for the geographically diverse country like Nepal, the Prime Minister said adding that such projects of mutual benefit would take Nepal-China bilateral relations to a new height.

总理表示，太阳能对尼泊尔等地理多元化的国家非常有用，这样的互利项目将使尼泊尔与中国的双边关系达到新的高度。

China and Nepal have agreed to start technical works to build a cross-border railway link via Tibet to boost connectivity. Apart from these, Nepal has become part of Beijing's ambitious Border and Roads Intiative.

中国和尼泊尔已同意启动修建途经西藏的跨境铁路技术工程，以促进互联互通。除此之外，尼泊尔已经加入中国雄心勃勃的“一带一路”倡议。

The Chinese ambassador said that cooperation between China and Nepal was for the development and prosperity, and the launch of the solar light project was the latest example.

中国驻尼泊尔大使表示，中国与尼泊尔的合作是为了发展和繁荣，而太阳能项目就是最新的例子。

"I hope that this project will become a model project for Nepal to expand energy supply channels, strengthen electricity supply security and realize green development," Yu said.

于红表示，“我希望这个项目能成为尼泊尔扩大能源供应渠道、加强电力供应安全、实现绿色发展的示范项目。”

"The Chinese gove*ent has been engaged in efforts to help Nepal realise electricity development and will continue to provide assistance and support within its capacity the economic and social development of the country," the Chinese envoy was quoted as saying by Xinhua.

新华社援引中国特使的话表示:“中国一直致力于帮助尼泊尔实现电力发展，并将继续在力所能及的范围内为尼泊尔的经济和社会发展提供援助和支持。”

Chinese concentrate on business and employment instead of caste,religion, regional politics. no need to publish this news in India. they sell low cost than other than way other buy from India. 50% Indian farmer always in debt after loan waiver last 70 year. anyone seen any business when person lose 70 year even though not shift to other business. in city middle class person work hard and pay tax and not get all standard facility and good response from gov officer. where farmer take subsidy,loan waiver and not pay any single rupee tax in national building. this is called banana republic
