中国对美贸易顺差增加，呼吁（华盛顿）保持耐心

BEIJING: China's trade surplus with the United States surged by a fifth in the first three months of the year with China asking Washington on Friday to be patient as tensions between the economic superpowers simmer.

Fears of a trade war have been rumbling since last month as President Donald Trump has threatened a series of tariffs on hundreds of billions of dollars of Chinese goods, sparking tit-for-tat warnings from Beijing.

今年前3个月，中国对美贸易顺差增加了20%。4月13日，中国呼吁华盛顿保持耐心。自从上个月以来，随着特朗普总统威胁对在中国商品加收关税，进而引发北京以牙还牙的警告，人们对贸易战爆发的担心就一直不断。
