两家公司就控制了印度智能手机市场50%的份额

The year 2018 ended with just two companies together controlling around 50 per cent share of the India smartphone market - Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi and South Korean giant Samsung, according to latest data released by International Data Corporation (IDC).

国际数据公司（IDC）发布的最新数据显示，2018年两家公司控制了印度智能手机市场50%的份额，这两家公司分别是中国手机厂商小米和韩国手机巨头三星。

Xiaomi surpassed Samsung to become the market leader in 2018 with 28.9 per cent share in the Indian smartphone market which shipped 142.3 million units last year, according to IDC's Asia/Pacific Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker report. Samsung came second with 22.4 per cent share.

从IDC的亚太季度手机追踪报告来看，小米2018年手机出货量达1.423亿部，印度智能手机市场份额为28.9%，超过三星成为市场领先者。

In 2017, Xiaomi had 20.9 per cent market share, compared to 24.7 per cent share of Samsung.

而2017年，小米的市场份额为20.9%，三星的份额为27.7%。

In 2018, Vivo (14.2 per cent), OPPO (10.2 per cent) and Transsion (6.4 per cent) were the other three brands that found a place in the list of top five smartphone brands in the country.

Except Samsung, four of the five smartphone brands are based in China.

2018年，印度前5大手机品牌还有Vivo (14.2%),  OPPO (10.2%)和 Transsion (6.4%)

除了三星外，其他前5大手机品牌都来自中国

Samsung should take full advantage of the present anti China feelings in India. This is the time for them to leapfrog over all Chinese brands. They need not introduce any new brand but rationalise the price of one of their better models in the mid price category.

三星应该好好利用印度国内目前的反华情绪。

现在是三星超越所有中国品牌的绝好机会。

三星不需要引入新品牌，只要让目前的中端手机价格稍微亲民些就行
