Firstly, I think that this question is affected by Indian nationalistic ideology. In Diplomacy, jealousy is nothing. It's all about cooperation there.

Secondly, there's no such “exceptional development” in India. We're moving very slowly, our GDP growth was 5% only. Also, when we've got political stability, global economy is on recession which isn't igniting any modern industrial revolution and due to that, our exports are tumbling in World market.

Lemme quote one thing, “India is the least discussed nation in between Chinese public and govt”.
