PATNA: A 10-year-old boy was shot dead allegedly for plucking mangoes at Pathraha village in Khagaria district on Thursday.
Gogri police station SHO Deepak Kumar Yadav told TOI over the phone that Shergarh village native Satyam Kumar was shot in a mango orchard where some other children were also playing.

6月21日，一10岁男孩疑似偷摘芒果而被击毙。当地警方在电话上对印度时报记者说，男孩是在芒果园里被击毙的，当时其他孩子也在玩耍。

“Satyam’s father Makuni Yadav (38) has alleged his child was shot for plucking mangoes. The other children fled from the spot and informed the villagers,” said the SHO.

Makuni has named orchard watchman Ramashish Yadav (43) as the accused. He was absconding, the SHO said, adding the orchard was owned by one Baroh Chaudhary.

男孩的父亲马库里今年38岁。他说儿子摘芒果而被射杀。其他孩子逃离了现场，并告诉其他村民。

马库里指控43岁的芒果园看守是凶手。目前，嫌疑分子在逃。

This is India however. This is really bad if the watchman knew that he is shooting a 10-year-old. In fact, scaring a 10-year-old with a gun is just as bad. What is the watchman account? Did he fire, warned? Did he think some thieves in the orchard?
Newspaper now days sensationalize everything.
