According to Southern Metropolis Daily, the delivery men, Mr Cai and Mr Liu, were trying to transport goods from the ground floor to the fifth floor in an industrial building in Lo Wu, Shenzhen, on November 7.

Seconds after, he stepped in and fell into the bottom of the shaft.
It's reported that the lift was stopping at the fifth floor, rather than the ground floor.
