If there is a country that knows how to build big bridges and put up fireworks shows, it is China.

如果说世界上有这么一个国家，懂得修建大桥，而且来一次烟花秀，那么肯定是中国。

On the last day of 2017, the country celebrated the completion of the world's longest sea bridge, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, with a spectacular fireworks display.

2017年的最后一天，中国庆祝世界最长跨海大桥——港珠澳大桥完工，燃放起了壮观的烟花。

The fireworks were a part of the lighting-up ceremony for the mammoth motorway bridge and were witnessed by around 10,000 construction workers, reported China Global Television Network. The enormous sea bridge is now illuminated with beautiful LED lights every night.

Stretching 34 miles over waters, the £12 billion bridge connects Hong Kong, Macau and Zhuhai - three of China's most important and prosperous cities.

It's understood that the main part of the bridge is now complete, and the bridge is waiting for the final quality checks before it could be officially opened.

Chinese workers used 420,000 tonnes of steel to construct the bridge, which would be enough to build 60 Eiffel Towers

34 miles so the bridge must be curved? because earth is curved? if earth radius is 4000 miles 34mile it would curve about 600feet.
