BEIJING: The China-made attack helicopter Z-19E made its deput flight from the Harbin airport on Thursday marking a major step towards the country's entry into the global market for combative choppers.

Also called the "Black Whirlwind," the Z-19E, which took the maiden flight on Thursday, is the first export-oriented attack helicopter developed by the AVIC Harbin Aircraft Industry Group.

周四，中国产攻击直升机Z-19E在哈尔滨机场首飞，标志着该国朝进入全球战斗直升机市场迈出了重大一步。

Z-19E也被称为“黑旋风”，周四进行了首飞，是哈尔滨航空工业集团研发的出口型攻击直升机。

Based on the Z-19's design, the 19E can be used in quick-response, low-impact and frequent attack missions, the China National Radio reported.

根据中央人民广播电台的报道，Z-19E是以Z-19为基础进行设计的，可以用来执行快速响应、低强度和频繁的攻击任务。

Deputy chief designer Li Shengwei said the helicopter is equipped with safety features to improve the pilot's survival rate.

"The Z-19E and Z-9 are similar in many respects," Li said.

副总设计师表示，Z-19E搭载有安全设备，能提高飞行员的生存率。

The Z19 has been in production since 2011, way before the HAL LCH, which hasn't entered production yet. So any idio4ic claims are copying are indeed laughable
