BEIJING: For global banks, China's new "Silk Road" is a tantalising concept: billions of dollars in deals, loans and advisory fees, and a cosier relationship with Beijing for those who step up.

On the other side it is a very complicated project led by a very duplicitous promoter, with every reason to believe that will only suck out its partners. Who here thinks that US is not under Chinese influence, and therefore, other than India, which major economy is not bowing infront of Chinese prowess? None indeed. India has that only oppurtunity to step up the game, since US under Trump itself seems like a Chinese colony. I pity US, keep funding your military, you're still fighting, China went past without even a whiff to US, and without PLA stepping outside mainland.

I never thought US would loose its domination in such a disrespectable manner. US and Russia look like a flip flop worn by China. The epicenter of world changed so soon, I am still coming to terms, so is India. At the end, China has proven that hosting the biggest military doesn't qualify one as a economic giant. Trump was the last stepping stone for China. From now on, China will decide, rest will follow suit.
