NEW DELHI: The trade ministry on Monday recommended imposing a 25 per cent duty on imports of solar cells and modules from China for one year to try to counter what it sees as a threat to domestic solar equipment manufacturing.

7月16日，印度贸易部建议对从中国进口的太阳能电池征税25%的关税，为期一年，旨在对抗其对国产太阳能设备厂商的威胁。

Falling prices of solar cells and modules, over 90 per cent of which India imports from China, have triggered a decline in the cost of solar power generation and led Indians increasingly to adopt the technology.

太阳能电池价格的下降，拉低了太阳能发电的成本，越来越多印度人采用这一技术。其中超过90%的太阳能电池是从中国进口的。

India plans to make renewable power account for 40 per cent of its total installed capacity by 2030, from 20 per cent currently.

印度计划到2030年，让可再生能源占总装机容量的比例从目前的20%增加至40%。

Let the local manufacturers reduce the cost of production , by replacing old machines with latest machines. How they can dictate the customers to buy at higher rate?.It is the right of every customer to buy at lowest rate.

Why not NTPC and other State SEBs scrap old thermal plants and replace them with Solar power plants , with the existing land and other facilities.This will reduce pollution,and coal can be saved for the future , as no raw material is needed.

为什么印度国家电力集团不关掉旧的火电厂，利用现有的土地和设备建光伏电站。

不仅能减少污染，而且能节约煤炭。
