The first ever pillar to be erected on the face of the earth, was in INDIA. The IRON PILLAR was built in Delhi around 375–413 AD . The pillar, today, stands 7m tall.

Dhamma: Budhha gave dhamma to this world which is based on humanity, equality and of course on science.
Martial skills: Buddhist monk Bodhi dharma was the one who spread this skills in China. This techniques are'nt used for killing but for defence.
Ayurveda and acupuncture technique: This techniques are still used world wide which were originated in ancient India.
Marriages: Saint Valentine liked the way we Indian people used to get married and live with each other till last breath. He taught Europeans why instead of changing partners throughout life getting married is way better.
Sugar: Indians invented sugar. History of sugar - Wikipedia .
Zero: Very significant in mathematics.
Scientists and engineers:India set to produce world’s largest number of engineers - Times of India .
That's all I remember.

武术，和尚菩提达摩是第一个在中国传授武术的人。武术不是用来杀人的，而是用来自卫。

I would love to point out different countries and communities who must thank India.

India gave muslims a big chuck of her land to practice their religion which became Pakistan.

India has been the only country in the world who has never shown any anti-semitism and even built Synagogues for jews who came to India and let them practice their belief with utmost freedom. Israel already respects India a lot for that and we respect Israel for recognition.

What has India given to this world for which it should be thankful for??? It has given ZERO to the world. Yeah ZERO.

BTW don’t take me wrong. By ‘zero’ I don’t mean ‘nothing or null’ but the literal arithmetic symbol ‘ZERO’(0) , Which am taking about. Do you really think that any of the inventions which have taken place and are taking place and would take place is/was/would be possible had there been no zero?? The answer z plane No. ZERO z the greatest gift to the humankind as it contributed so much to the modern world and fortunately this ZERO has come from India!

这里说的“0”，并非是指毫无贡献，而是数字这个“0”

“0”就是印度对人类最大的贡献，而这个“0”就是来自印度！
