BEIJING: China's indigenously-developed large amphibious aircraft has successfully conducted high-speed water taxiing trials on the Zhanghe reservoir.

The test of the AG600 seaplane was conducted on Monday at a speed of 145 kms in the city of Jingmen of central China's Hubei Province, according to China Aviation Industry General Aircraft Co Ltd (CAIGA).

CAIGA, headquartered in the southern province of Guangdong, said on Tuesday that the AG600, codenamed Kunlong, was in stable condition and functioned normally during the test.

据报道，“鲲龙”AG600在湖北荆门漳河机场成功进行水上高速滑行试验，飞机操控稳定，各系统工作正常。

we r just talking ....they have already developed and tested aircrafts. ... make new aircraft designing and production a priority .... involve IIT and any one if required....but stop depending on foreign countries to provide aircrafts. start thinking about alternate sources of fuel to fly aircrafts .... we can't lag behind too much ..... act fast.
