保洁丑闻曝光后，中国大酒店被调查

BEIJING: Chinese authorities are inspecting several major international hotels after hidden camera video showed room cleaning workers using soiled towels to clean cups and glasses and other questionable practices.

The Chinese tourism ministry said late Thursday that it had asked authorities in Beijing, Shanghai and three provinces to investigate 14 hotels that appear in the video.

Several of the hotels including a Sheraton and Waldorf Astoria has apologised.

被发现员工用同一块毛巾擦坐便器和杯具。隐藏摄像头拍摄的视频显示，中国多家五星级酒店的清洁员用脏毛巾清洗马桶、杯具和淋浴器。

中国文化和旅游部下令对这种明显违反卫生标准的做法进行调查。陷入丑闻的一些酒店纷纷道歉。

This is very common in populated countries. Don''t ever eat outside in India, there are always hotel workers with grudges on pay, admin, etc who spit on your food and serve leftovers.

在人口多的国家，这很普遍。

This is the most nauseating thing to
do. That such a thing should be going on in International hotels shows how Chinese workers are
not given clean cloth to wipe various items in the room. It is a
dirty way of doing things.
