BEIJING: China's first sky train came off the assembly line in the city of Nanjing making it third country after Germany and Japan to develop the technology.

北京：中国首列空中轨道列车在南京的装配线下线，这使得中国成为继德国和日本之后第三个拥有此技术的国家。

The Nanjing Puzhen Company Limited affiliated to China's largest state-owned rolling stock manufacturer CRRC Corporation Limited (China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation) rolled out the elevated railway train on Saturday according to official media.

据官方媒体报道，中国最大的国有轨道交通制造商中国中车股份有限公司（中国铁路轨道交通公司）下属的南京浦镇车辆有限公司在星期六推出了高架铁路列车。

The two compartments can hold more than 200 passengers and when compared with subways and trams sky trains have lower costs better climbing and turning ability and higher wind resistance Chinese officials said.

中国官员称，两节车厢可以容纳超过200名乘客，与地铁和火车相比，空中轨道列车造价更低，爬升和转弯能力更强，并有更好的抗风能力。

Professor Yue Zhaohong at the Beijing Jiaotong University said the construction period of sky trains is also much shorter than that of subways lasting only three to five months for dozens of kms of rails China Radio International reported.   The overhauled railway is driven by batteries which can run for four hours at a time and the batteries can be changed when stopped at a station with the whole process lasting only two minutes.

据中国国际广播电台报道，北京交通大学的Yue Zhaohong教授称天空列车的建造用时也比一般的地铁要少得多，只需三到五个月就可以铺设数百公里轨道。这种超越性的列车由电池驱动，一次可运行长达四小时，并且更换只需在停靠站台时花费两分钟即可完成。

Experts said sky trains are a good choice in third and fourth tiered cities and at scenic spots.

The sky trains will make their debut in China next year at a variety of scenic places it said.

Our infrastructure is much different whilst we have very basic and old infrastructure in many places china has found a way to remove that we would be able to do it but not in broad places perhaps only in certain modern places which can handle it''s delicacy. Also if I''m not mistaken China doesn''t have wildlife out openly e.g. monkeys dogs and cows whilst we do. They are a threat to the project itself and a danger to themselves. Also we have different logistics we should find a project suited for our needs such as economically friendly flying buses.

Sky trains or Sky Bus as one may call it are nothing but a colossal waste of money! They are nothing more than a exclusive metro service. The only specialty is that they look falling from the sky. This technology is nothing but a showpiece to the world. The actual cost of laying the infrastructure is huge and is the reason why it is not considered seriously by other developed Countries such as US UK and France etc. 
India should be wise enough to get its priorities right and don''t give a fuss about such things. India should in all his wisdom try to use the scientific knowledge to good use.

天空列车或者天空巴士不过是浪费钱罢了！不过是一个具有排他性的地铁服务罢了。唯一的特点是看起来是从天而来的。没啥技术含量，不过是向世界炫耀罢了。这种列车的基建铺设代价非常高昂，所以英美法等发达国家才没有认真考虑采用。
