China’s largest, self-developed unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), the Caihong-5, has successfully completed its first flight Chinese media report. The model is now ready for mass production. 

据中国媒体报道，中国最大的、自主研发的无人飞行器（UAV），彩虹-5，成功地完成了它的首次飞行。这种型号现在可以量产了。

The medium-altitude long-endurance drone has a wingspan of 21 meters and can carry a payload of up to one ton, China Global Television Network (CGTN) reports, citing a senior official from the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) which produced the UAV.

中国环球电视网（cgtn）报道，这款中高空长航时无人机翼长21米，携带有效载荷可达一吨，该飞机生产厂家中国航天科技集团公司的一名高级官员（CASC）透漏。

Caihong-5 (Rainbow-5), the largest in the Rainbow series, has a maximum operating range of up to 10,000 kilometers and can remain in the air for 60 hours. The drone undertook its first flight at an airport in China’s Hebei Province Friday.

彩虹-5（英文名Rainbow-5）是彩虹系列中最大的一种，最大的航行范围可达1万公里，可在空中停留60小时。周五，这架无人机在中国河北省的一个机场进行了首次飞行。

The UAV can conduct reconnaissance, surveillance, patrol, target positioning and strike missions. It can also be used for civilian purposes such as resource surveying, disaster survey or emergency responses. The drone was first presented at an international airshow in the southern Chinese city of Zhuhai in 2016.

这款无人机可以进行侦察、监视、巡逻、目标定位和打击任务。它也可民用，如资源调查、灾难调查或应急响应。这款无人机首次亮相于2016年在中国南部城市珠海举行的国际航展上。
