China warned that a war on the Korean Peninsula would have devastating consequences as the US threatened military retaliation against North Korea if it proceeds with a nuclear test this weekend.

美国威胁，如果朝鲜本周末继续进行核试验，那么美国将进行军事报复。对此，中国警告称，朝鲜半岛战争可能会造成毁灭性后果。

As US Vice President Mike Pence heads to Asia on a 10-day trip that will include South Korea, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi urged all parties “to stop provoking and threatening each other and not to make the situation irretrievable."

“Once a war really happens, the result will be nothing but losing all round and no one could become a winner,” Wang told reporters in Beijing on Friday, according to the official Xinhua News Agency.

随着美国副总统迈克·彭斯在亚洲开始包括韩国在内的10天访问之旅，中国外长王毅督促各方停止挑衅和威胁，切勿造成无法挽救的形势。

据新华社报道，王在北京对记者说，“一旦爆发战争，大家都会输，不会有赢家。”

North Korea is isolating itself from the global connectivity by showing its excellence in nuclear test and menacing the world peace.China as a neighbur has to contain it.But simply it is dragging US into direct conflict with North Korea.Pertinent countries must bring North Korea across the table and solve the issue.Days are not far to N.Korea to challenge China directly and neutral countries mediation is a must for this issue.
