NEW DELHI: China's aggressive road building exercise into Chumbi valley in the strategically located tri-junction between India, Bhutan and China, the source of the current stand-off between the two neighbours, is part of Beijing's plans to gain strategic advantage in the region, say experts.

专家称，中国在地处印度、不丹和中国连接处这一战略位置的春比溪谷（Chumbi valley）积极修路。

这是两国目前对峙的源头，是北京为了在该地区获得战略优势的计划的一部分。

India stopped China's road building, which was followed by Chinese troops destroying Indian bunkers and stopping pilgrims from travelling to Kailash Mansarovar through the Nathu La route.
