BEIJING/NEW DELHI: China has launched a high-stakes propaganda blitz, painting India as the aggressor and holding out the threat of a full-scale confrontation as the two countries face off on the Bhutanese Doklam plateau. Worried about being seen bullying a small country like Bhutan, it is desperate to blame India for the stand-off on the border.

随着两国在不丹洞朗高原上的对峙在持续，中国启动了高风险的宣传活动，把印度描绘为侵略者，威胁说可能爆发全面冲突。

中国担心被视为欺负不丹那样的一个小国，拼命地把边界对峙的责任归咎于印度。

I haven't seen such envy by a neighbouring country for another country. We made a mistake in 1962 but not now. You can threaten as you wish but we have been war ready since our independence. So, the idead of bullying won't do any good here.
