BEIJING (Reuters) - The "wrong" actions of the United States on Taiwan, its South China Sea patrols and deployment of an advanced anti-missile system in South Korea have had a large, negative influence on military trust, a senior Chinese officer said on Thursday.

北京(路透社)：周四，一名中国高级官员表示，美国在台湾问题上的“错误”行为，其在南中国海的巡逻，以及在韩国部署先进的反导弹系统，对军事信任产生了极大的负面影响。

Fan Changlong, a vice chairman of China's powerful Central Military Commission, told Joseph Dunford, chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, that mutual trust mechanisms between the two militaries had continued to improve, China's defense ministry said.

中国中央军事委员会副主席范长龙告诉美国参谋长联席会议主席邓福德说，两军之间的相互信任机制不断得到改善。

"But wrong actions on the Taiwan issue, the United States deploying the THAAD system around China, U.S. ships and aircraft's activities in the South China Sea, the United States close-in surveillance in the sea and air near China have had a large, negative influence on bilateral military ties and mutual trust," Fan added.

范长龙补充：但美方在台湾问题、美在中国周边部署“萨德”系统、美军舰机在南海活动、美在中国周边海空域抵近侦察等问题上的错误做法，给两国两军关系和双边互信带来很大消极影响。

Fan said China was willing to work with the United States to find more potential for cooperation, handle disputes and sensitive issues appropriately and ensure military cooperation becomes a positive force in relations.

范长龙表示，中方愿与美方共同努力，进一步挖掘合作潜力，妥善处理分歧和敏感问题，确保军事合作为中美关系注入正能量。

The South China Sea is Not owned by China.
Taiwan is Not part of China.
The Chinese communist party was not chosen by the Chinese and they do not represent the common Chinese. They rule by threat of force and will kill or imprison anyone that gets in their way.

China is an interesting case. They have issues with ALL of their neighbors and are close to a war with India. Sometimes they pull up an old map to show that at one point the lands now belonging to someone else were once Chinese, and once Chinese, always Chinese. The exception to this seems to be Russia who currently owns a large amount of former Chinese territory in Russian Far East. I wonder why the Russians are being treated differently?

I suppose the "right" actions for the U.S. would be to leave the SCS and Taiwan completely, abandon S. Korea and Japan, allow N. Korea to terrorize the entire world, and allow China to claim ownership of the entire western Pacific. Oh and the Indian Ocean too.
