India is not scared of china. In every sense China is very much worried of India's military developments and its friendly relations with other nations. The recent reply to China by our defence minister makes the point stronger
"If they are trying to remind us, the situation in 1962 was different, the India of today is different"
Take a look at the following cases that worries China.

印度不怕中国，任何意义上，中国更担心印度军事发展，以及其和其他国家的友好关系。最近我们国防部长对中国的回应使这点更有力。“如果他们想提醒我们，情况与1962年不同，印度今非昔比。”

1) Malabar exercise
Keeping China in view India along with America and Japan conducts Malabar exercise. This makes China worry ,already India and Japan are it's rivals and both of them have border disputes with China . Now Australia also expressed it's decision to join the exercise which is a great threat to China .

1）马拉巴尔军演

以中国为目标，印度与日美一起在马拉巴尔进行军演。这让中国担心，日本和印度都与他们有边界争端。现在澳大利亚也表示加入这个对中国构成巨大威胁的军演。

2) East China sea dispute.
East China sea is a border dispute between Japan and China . China has increased its naval strength by inducting its new aircraft carrier in the area. Japan lacks naval strength as compared to China. Japan and India have good relations and both are now good friendly nations. In case China attacks Japan, India will not become a mute spectator but it will help Japan by all means. So Japan along with India in a war is very hard shield for china to break.

2）东海争端
东海争端是中日间的边界争端。中国通过在该地区建设新的航空母舰增强其海军实力。相比中国，日本缺少海军实力。日本和印度有良好关系，两国都是友好国家。如果中国攻击日本，印度不会沉默，会不惜代价帮助日本。所以战争中，日本与印度是中国难以攻破的强盾。

3) Relations with Sri Lanka
China had invested a huge amount in Sri Lanka in past years for its development. Actually it's a move to encircle India in every means. Recently PM Narendra Modi's visit to Sri Lanka worried China very well . Because Sri Lanka denies Chinese request to permanently station a submarine at Sri Lankan shore.

3）与斯里兰卡的关系

4) AGNI missiles
India successfully tested Agni 5 missiles . This nuclear weapon has a range upto 10000 km,with this range it can hit anywhere in China including Beijing. China seeks UN security councils intervention in this matter. So China is worried in this case also

So China unlinke in the past years now fears India more.

4）烈火导弹

India is scared and that is a fact! But not for the reasons you are fishing for.
We are a nation not known for eating grass to beg, borrow and steal our way to a nuke or two. This nation has not indulged in the rape and murder of its citizens. India may be a nation full of differences and contradictions but that does not mean we persecute our own citizens. India as a nation has much to lose.

印度害怕，这是事实！但不是你钓鱼的理由。我们不是吃草乞讨闻名的国家。这个国家没有纵容强奸和谋杀自己的公民。印度或许是充满分歧和矛盾的国家，但这并不意味着我们会迫害自己的公民。

India is scared because a war means death and destruction, a severe jolt to the economy and a war would set India back by at least 25 years.
India has just woken up from its slumber and has to walk a long way before it can bring to reality the dreams on which India was founded:
“The service of India means the service of the millions who suffer. It means the ending of poverty and ignorance and disease and inequality of opportunity.

A war with China will now ensure another 25 years of rebuilding and a lost opportunity for another generation of Indians.

India is not scared that the Chinese would break India into two or that it would lose territory. The Indian armed forces of 2017 are capable of handling that challenge.

与中国的战争现在肯定会有又一25年的重建，失去另一代印度人的机会。

It is natural for any country to be concerned about a power like China. India should be more concerned as we have a border dispute with China. Even United States and Japan are also concerned about China. Similarly China along with its ally Pakistan is concerned about the growing power of India. Its the job of military planners to be watchful of any strong potential adversaries.
