SHANGHAI: China is expected this week to conduct the maiden test flight of a home-grown passenger jet built to meet soaring domestic travel demand and challenge the dominance of Boeing and Airbus.

中国国产客机本周有望进行首次试飞，以满足不断飙升的国内旅行需求，并挑战波音和空客的垄断。

The C919, built by state-owned aerospace manufacturer Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC), was set to take wing over Shanghai on Friday, the company said on Wednesday, according to the official Xinhua news agency.

c919是中国商飞制造的。据新华社报道，该公司称，c919将于周五在上海起飞。

"If weather conditions are not suitable, the maiden flight will be rescheduled," COMAC said, adding that engineers had completed some 118 tests.

“如果天气条件不合适，首飞将会重新安排。”中国商飞还称，工程师已经完成了大约118次试验。

China MAKES low quality products specifically for poor and cheap Indians. Over 98% of China's exports are to Western countries, US, UK, Canada, France, Germany, Spain,.. you name it but NONE of these countries had any complaints about Chinese Low quality and reliability. Only Indians do because they can only afford cheap stuff. As they say: you get what you paid for. It's only economics. Go to a place called YiWu in Zheijinag province of China, you will see and meet hundreds Indians there, eager to buy and import everything to India. Indians should complain to or even prosecute these Indian fellow country-men!

China should test fly this plane by inviting Indians on board, especially their Modi and the heads of their ISRO, DSRO, etc. to let them experience a safe and comfortable flight in a jet airliner made by a fellow Asian country so that they can abandon their SLAVE mindset in that everything their West master did was great but everything China does is copying, stealing and low quality.
