China is clearly a burgeoning super power.Russia not so much. Because of Putin's adventures in Ukraine he has scupperedhis lucrative deals with Europe and the West and now has to turn to China witha weak hand. China must be laughing as it cherry picks cheap energy deals atrock bottom prices and gains access to Russia's prime military technology. Theirony is that in a few years, Russia may look back fondly at the evil West andrue its toxic propaganda, as it counters a dominant China that makes more andmore demands of its new bitch.

Damn, the state I live in here has a bigger GDPthan all Mother Russia. Without it's Soviet leftover nukes, Russia wouldn'thave the clout of even Saudi Arabia.

Russia will not be more of a lapdog toChina than EU is to the USA. Like it or not, even though Russia's economy ismuch smaller than China it will still grow, and be by far Europe's strongesteconomy soon.
Russians are known the economy might becomemuch stronger in the future. Unlike EU's economy that will stagnate.

The West will only achieve to create yetanother division. While the Europe-Russia-China axis would have been a keysuccess to Europe, they chose to remain totally submissive to the US and NATO,thus they are building new walls in Europe.
Europe will implode soon, and Russia willwalk away for good with its gas. That's all the EU will deserve, to remain a UScolony ruled by the corporations .I am not sure the EU will be a safer place inthe future without Russia.
