ASAKA,Japan – Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe renewedhis pledge Sunday to push for a revision to the country's war-renouncingconstitution, in which he wants the military explicitly mentioned.

Speaking before a field ofabout 4,000 troops, Abe said that a revision is needed to give his troops senseof pride.
