Several witnesses rushed to the boy's rescue before he was     taken to hospital

A little boy was trapped under a car whenit drove over him as he played on the pavement.
Horrified pedestrians rushed to rescue thechild by lifting a car which had slowly mown him down.

一位小男孩在人行道上玩耍的时候，被一辆轿车碾压了过去，惊恐的人们连忙赶过来一起抬车救孩子。

The accident was caught on CCTV in WuxiCounty, Chongqing Municipality, south-western China.

肇事地点位于中国西南省份的重庆市巫溪县。

The driver, who says he did not see theboy, runs him over from behind

这位司机说他当时没看到这个男孩，所以从他的后面开了过去。

More than 10 strangers came to the boy'said before he was taken to hospital.

男孩在被送进医院前，大约有10多个路人出手相助（一起抬车）。

In the video the unnamed boy can be seencrouched down on the pavement when suddenly he is hit from behind by the car.

录像里，这位不知姓名的男孩正蹲在人行道上（玩耍），一辆车突然从他的后面压了过去。

A woman rushes over holding her hands up tostop the driver, who said he did not see the boy, from moving any further,while another man runs over and beckons for others to help.

一位女士看到后突然冲过来连忙摆手阻止司机，她说那个司机开过来前一点都没看见那个男孩，其他人连忙叫人帮忙。

Within seconds a group has assembled tolift the heavy vehicle and rush the boy to doctors.

一瞬间，好几群人赶来一起抬起沉重的轿车，并吧孩子送进医院。

Emergency services were called and policeattended the scene. It is believed they are investigating the incident.

119和110均赶到现场，据悉他们正对此事件进行调查。

The little boy is reportedly still inhospital receiving treatment.

目前该男孩仍在住院治疗中。

Police officer Wang Jianglin said: 'Thedoctor said that luckily the kid did not suffer a fracture or internal bleedingbut only little cuts and bruises.

警官王江琳说：“医生说孩子幸亏没有骨折或内出血，只有点小擦伤。

'As he is a small boy, we suggested him tostay in the hospital for observation. We questioned the driver, he said that hedidn't see the child when he was driving in the morning.

由于孩子还小，我们建议他继续住院观察。当时我们问了下那个司机，司机说他那天早上开车时没见到那个孩子。

'The accident happened on a slope road.When the driver was driving upwards, he failed to see the child who wassquatting in front of his car because he could only see upward.'

事故发生在一条斜上坡上，司机在行驶时，他没法看见蹲在车前面的孩子，因为他看不到车下面。

I was there for years and never saw one driver that would last one hour ina western country before the cops stopped them, other drivers stopped them andbeat them or shot them. We all know he was driving on the footpahbut im saying even though he was on the footpath he coul;d clearly see thechild yet he ran over him. Just watch on the internet how many really stupidcar crashes there are in china. They are the dopiest drivers in the world. Theysee a child or an adult in their way & they just dont stop, they run overthem & then stop. Its unbelievable.
