A daughter and her father have been accused of incest after she offered sex to her father to stop him from re-marrying.

A district court in Hong Kong heard the two defendants admitting four charges of incest sex that first started in 2009 when she was 19-years-old.

A psychological report revealed yesterday that the intimate encounters arouse from 'misplaced love infatuation and devotion to her father' SCMP reported.

The 27-year-old daughter and 59-year-old father pleaded guilty on April 27 to four encounters of sexual intercourse from 2009 to 2015.

Both defendants attended Wan Chai district court yesterday.

The daughter's lawyer wrote in a letter that the case did not involve a breach of trust and underage sexual activity.

A psychological report suggested that the father's chances of reoffending is low as he claimed in a mitigation letter that he would move to mainland China and keep away from his daughter.

The court is set to sentence both defendants on June 12.
