The statue, ‘Grave Naiskos of an Enthroned Woman with an Attendant’ is on display at The J. Paul Getty Museum in Malibu, California.

The woman is looking just over the top of the lid, directly at the little girl's face. The two "USB" holes received the pegs which originally attached the extension of the little girl's right hand, which projected out slightly from under the side of the tablet or shallow box. Ancient Greek joiners were more likely to have had the technology to make shallow boxes or jewel cases than to make laptop computers. I know that's a shock. Now if Chinese archaeologists had found dozens of buried life-size ancient ceramic accountant statues holding laptop computers, I might be willing to believe this nonsense. Guaranteed, cheap knock-offs would have been exported to the Greeks and Romans.

That was a representation of a folding mirror and most likely had an inset of a reflective glass attached to it.Hence the lack of a stylus in this case.The holes were made at a later date to hold the attendant's replacement new hand that had broken off in an accident. In time the wooden pegs that were attached to the hand came loose and the replacement hand came off and was subsequently lost.Not much of a mystery there really.
