Forget political correctness orwhat some people consider to be right or wrong on moral grounds, Laws don'tneed to be changed but used wisely - there are areas in every town away fromresidential areas, or there are specific bars where women could apply theirtrade without hindrance but if anyone causes a problem they can still bearrested.

People are reacting like this is a newthing. Sick people have been around for a long time. If it wasn't happening inthis controlled zone, it would be happening somewhere else. I'd rather have allthe pond life in the controlled zone so at least I know where to avoid.

This is exactly the reason to legaliseprostitution. If it was totally legalised and allowed to be practised away fromresidential areas but within licensed premises and I do not mean pubs. Thebenefits are (1) The poor women who have to do this to feed drug habits canobtain much more help (2) No one will be coerced or forced to do this as thepremises are regulated (3) health care and counseling (4) the possibility ofviolence is very much reduced. (5) They pay tax on their earnings. (6) Streetwalking is very much reduced
