中国19岁女孩卖身救母 [英国媒体]

A desperate 19-year-old in China has posted an advertisement to sell herself in order to raise money for her ill mother's medical treatment.

一个绝望的19岁的中国女孩为了获得生病母亲的治疗费用而发布了一条出卖自己的广告信息

In a post on Chinese social media Cao Mengyuan said the treatment would cost around 350000 Yuan (￡41000) but whoever offered the highest price would win the right to 'use her body at will'.

在一个中国社会媒体的的文章里面，曹梦媛表示治疗费用需要35万元（4.1万英镑），只要有人提供了这笔高昂的费用，就会获得随意使用她的身体的权利。

An insider today told MailOnline that a 'generous boss' had responded to the advertisement and agreed to help Cao cover her mother's medical bills.

However the insider declined to reveal what the man intended to do with Cao.

Cao posted the advertisement titled  '(I am) selling myself' on WeChat a Chinese social media platform reported QQ.com

Cao claimed in the post that she was born and raised at a rural household in Gaozhou city of southern China. 

曹在她的帖子里说：她在中国南方高州市的一个农村家庭长大。

She said her mother was 45 years old and had been a farmer all her life.  

她的母亲是一个45岁的农妇。

She also said her mother had been diagnosed with skin cancer recently and had been admitted into the Gaozhou People's Hospital for almost a week.

同时，她说她的母亲最近被诊断为皮肤癌，并住进高州市人民医院接近一周了。

She added that her mother's health was deteriorating and serious infection had started developing on her right thigh. 

她补充说她母亲的健康状况不断恶化，严重的感染已经开始在右腿蔓延。

Cao said that to treat her mother's illness they would need about 350000 Yuan (￡41604) however her mother did not have medical insurance and her family would not be able to afford the cost.  

曹说：要治疗她母亲的病需要大约35万元人民币（41604镑），但是她母亲没有医保，她的家庭无法负担如此昂贵的治疗费。

Unlike the floozies we have here in Europe and the US at least this woman is doing it for all the right reasons and I admire her. Here in the US women do this stuff for a fancy handbag or other useless trinkets or drugs never for the greater good and if they tell you that they are it's a fake story most likely just being told to make you feel bad. Let's face it we just don't have the same moral compass in our worlds even though we believe we have more and that is just delusion....

It is a refreshing change to see a teenager prepared to work for her family instead of expecting handouts from the state like kids in the west. Let us hope her hard work is not in vain.

Just for clarity. Mr Huang also said that a 'generous boss' had agreed to pay all the medical bills for Cao's mother after seeing Cao's post. Mr Huang declined to reveal what the man intended to do with Cao. However he added: 'It has been settled. She doesn't have to sell anything now.'

Not sure what the going rate in China is but I suspect it's a lot less than ?41000. She's gonna have to lower her price a lot to be competitive.

To think that in the west we revere money and those who have obscene amounts of it and a beautiful poverty stricken young child is prepared to give herself to anyone in order to save her precious mother's life because she hasn't even got a reasonable amount to live on. Says a lot about the establishment's indifference to the majority's struggles.
