Chinese beauty salons have revealed a new trend in which fire is used to help people lose weight.    

中国美容院现在流行一种新趋势，利用火来帮助人们减肥。



Fire therapy claims to have effective weight loss results and involves wrapping towels around the person and lighting the towels on fire. 

火疗声称拥有有效的减肥效果，用毛巾将患者裹住然后再点燃毛巾。

Beauty salons in Beijing claim that customers can shed up to 10kg (1.6 stone) in a month, costing customers a minimum of 2000 yuan (￡233).  

北京的美容院称客人一个月内最多可以减肥10公斤，费用至少2000元。

The new weight loss method is trending in the Chinese capital with many promotional packages offered on social media. 

这种新的减肥方法流行于中国首都，在社交媒体上可以看到很多的促销套餐。

However some people have been left shocked by the drastic measure. 

但是有些人被这种极端的方法吓到了。

A woman nicknamed Li Xin told the Beijing Youth Post that she received a fire therapy video from 'Shen Nilaiya Beauty Body Weightloss Centre' on March 23,People's Daily Online reports.

小名为李欣的女士对北京青年报说3月23号他从“圣妮莱娅美容美体减肥中心”收到了一个火疗视频，人民网报道。

The video shows a woman wrapped in white towels like a mummy, her shoulder, thigh, calves and hip can be seen being burnt. 

视频中一名女子像木乃伊一样被白色毛巾包裹着，然后她的肩膀，大腿，小腿，臀部被点燃。



The shop's owner claimed that it helps 'sculpt the body' and is 'effective for weight loss'. The owner also claimed it can help lose 20kg (3.15 stone) in two months. 

店主称这有助于“塑形”并且“有利于减肥”。店主还称可在两个月内减肥20公斤。
