Shocking images of dogs tied up as they wait to be butchered in Indonesia have been released.

The heartbreaking photographs show several dogs bound up by their legswith forlorn expressions on their faces before they are killed at a meat butchery house in Yogyakarta.

Other images - which the MailOnline has chosen not to publish - show dogs hanging up by their paws post slaughter while some workers are seen preparing the meat before cooking it.

That sure looks like animal cruelty to me. Disgusting. Very upsetting and absolutely disgusting. I wish I knew how to help

So animal cruelty is illegal in Indonesia? What a joke - a H@L@L slaughter (dog or otherwise) is literally one of the most gut-wrenching sights (and sounds) you'll ever experience. It is a truly savage and drawn-out process and serves no other purpose other than to be exceptionally barbaric.
