This hilarious video shows a man attempting to cure his back pain by running while suspended in mid-air and hanging by his head from a jungle gym.

The bizarre DIY chiropractic technique was filmed by passers-by in China who were shocked at the sight of the man's unique choice of physiotherapy.

The clip which has been viewed over  four million times on social media shows the man swinging his arms and legs back and forth as if running while exercising in his local park.

He is suspended off the ground leaving his entire body swaying to the movement.

Two rubber straps around his neck and head hold him up which  hangs from the horizontal bars of a climbing frx.

The man told bystanders that he was trying to 'straighten his spine and neck' which had been hurting because of long-term poor posture.

Having a trapped nerve in my back the physio had a machine which did virtually the same thing stretched the vertebrae to release the nerve I was mighty relieved after the treatment I wouldn't hesitate to use the machine again if required.
