A company inHangzhou, eastern China, has allowed its staff to wear masks at work to helpthem feel more confident while dealing with demanding bosses.

杭州一家企业允许员工戴面具工作以帮助他们在面对苛刻的老板时更加有自信。

Employees wereseen donning various kinds of headgears, which ranged from a Venetian mask to aquirky hen-shaped mask, on the company's 'De-stress Day' last week.

在该公司上周的“去压日”期间，这些员工戴着各种各样的面具，从威尼斯面具到怪异的母鸡形状面具。



Managers of thefirm hope the novel idea can help staff feel more relaxed at work, especiallywhen they are required to present ideas in front of colleagues and supervisors,reported People's Daily Online.

In addition, forjunior employees, they were more likely to share opinions because they wouldn'trecognise their bosses.

A manager of thecompany confirm the thought.

The unnamedmanage told Chinese media that meetings were much more constructive on that dayas employees appeared to be more outspoken behind masks.

Sounds like theyneed to work on the bosses, not the employees. Sounds as if the bosses just arenot very receptive to new ideas. Many are not. They hate it when an employeehas better ideas, because it shows them up, scares the boss into thinking he'snot doing his job.
