A short eight second video has revealed what's perhaps the most disgusting dorm room in the world.

一段8秒的短视频爆光了可能是世上最令人恶心的宿舍。

The video, reportedly filmed in Guangzhou, south China, showed a room that's almost completely covered with rubbish, with barely any room to move.

视频录制于中国南方的广州市，视频拍摄了一个满地垃圾，几乎无法落脚的宿舍。

Even more shockingly, the person filming the footage could be heard saying 'the smell has already driven away two people', according to Huanqiu, an affiliate of People's Daily Online.

Long ago I was in university and I had two people sharing my room and they happen to be Chinese! Nothing wrong with that I thought! In till I lived with them for a month! They were the most cluttered dirty people I've ever met! They kept everything dirty the room smelled so bad because of rotten food that they refused to throw away! I finally got sick of it and demanded them to clean it! They had the audacity to tell me that I should clean it for them because they didn't know how to "keep up with cultural standards"! If you can't even pick up a rotten banana then you need to pack up your bags and go home! (I finally left that uni and was admitted to a better university thank goodness!!!)

很久以前我读大学的时候有两个室友，他们恰巧是中国人！这没啥大不了的，我当时这么想！我跟他们住了近一个月！他们是我见过最杂乱肮脏的人！
他们让所有东西都变肮脏，由于他们拒绝扔掉的腐烂食物，导致卧室充斥着令人难于忍受的气味。我最后对此感到厌烦并要求他们打扫干净，他们居然厚颜无耻地让我来打扫，还振振有辞说他们不知道怎样符合文明标准！
如果你们连根烂香蕉都不捡，那么你们就该收拾包裹滚蛋！（我最后离开了那所大学并被另一所更好的大学录取，真是谢天谢地！！！）

what a sad lot they are. I left school at 14 to work and kept my room neat and clean each day. my mum wouldnt have allowed it to be dirty. She too worked long hours but our home was a warm, clean and inviting place.
