A fitness-obsessed sexagenarian has hit the headlines in his native country of China for his impressive muscles and tireless work-out routines.

Liang Xiang , 61, from Chengdu, Sichuan, south-west China, who has a son and a young grandson, has developed pronounced abs after years of daily fitness, according to People's Daily Online.

His efforts are not merely for the purposes of vanity, but form part of a grand plan to become the oldest Chinese driver in the world famous Dakar Rally off-road car race in South America.

From 2000 onwards, after making enough money to step back from business, he started embarking on lengthy, difficult drives overseas.

Ive noticed this trend too. I don't know if its just done for the shots or these people walk round like this. if my trousers fall even a bit below the normal height it feels weird and uncomfortable, also restrictive depending in the type of trousers.

He has ZERO body fat so of course he has a six pack! Muscles are more enhanced and toned when there is no body fat to cover them. My grandfather at 60 has a six pack and great muscle tone as well. What is more impressive about this man is how healthy his skin is and that lack of wrinkles.
