A martial arts student who came to the aidof a woman who was being harassed on a bus is facing a fine and a jailterm.

一个在巴士上帮助被骚扰妇女的武术学生却面临罚款和刑期。

Guo Gang tried to stop a man who washarassing a woman on March 23. 2015 on a bus from Dujiangyan to Luzhou inSichuan province, however things escalated and became a fight, the People'sDaily Online reports.

2015年3月23号在从四川都江堰到泸州的巴士上，郭刚阻止一名男性骚扰一名女性，然而这件事情后来演变了一场打斗，人民网报道。

The man was left disabled and because thegirl had run away during the fight, Guo was unable to prove that he wasdefending someone. Guo was recently sentenced to two years and six monthsin prison with three years probation.

这名男子被打成残疾，而由于打斗期间这名女孩已经跑掉，所以郭没办法证明他当时是在帮助某人。郭最近被判处两年半刑期，缓刑3年。

Guo Gang, a 17-year-old student was on abus with his friends in Luzhou, Sichuan province when he saw a 30-year-old manmaking a girl feel uncomfortable.

17岁的郭和朋友当时坐上了同一辆巴士，车上他看到一名30岁男子在骚扰一名女孩。 

When the woman went to get off the bus, theman grabbed her to try and stop her from leaving.

当这名女性准备下车时，该男子抓着她不让她离开。

It was at that moment that Guo asked if sheknew the man.

就是在这时郭问这名女子是否认识这男子。

When sheconfirmed that she did not, Guo, along with his friends tried to stophim.

女孩说不认识，于是郭和朋友想要阻止这名男子。

The argument soon escalated into a fullblown fight. The man fainted and Guo called an ambulance for him.

争吵很快升级成了全武行。这名男子昏倒过去，郭给他叫了救护车。

This happens over and over in China -people helping hit and run victims who then accuse them - this has to stop ifyou want a decent society. Then again, a decent society might not be apriority.
