德国新型护卫舰又双叒叕跳票了 [英国媒体]

ANGELA MERKEL’s Germany has risked humiliation after delays befall their latest multimillion-pound warship, which should have been commissioned four years ago, as the German Navy starts running out of deployment-capable vessels.

默克尔统领的德国又添耻辱，在德国海军现役舰艇后继乏船之际，其本应在四年前投入现役的最新型昂贵战舰又双叒叕跳票了。

The ship’s launch has been pushed back another year to give enough time to iron out technical issues discovered in its sea trial, according to Die Zeit.

据《Die Zeit》报道，这艘船的服役日期再次推迟一年，以解决海试中发现的技术问题。

The Baden-Württemberg, called ‘Rheinland-Pfalz’, is the first of four new F-125 class frigates ordered by the German military back in 2007.

But continual delays mean the cutting-edge technology may already be outdated by the time they enter service.

Despite the famous 'German manufacturing', the country has failed to build enough ships to avoid a shrinking Navy.
Chief of the German parliament's defence committee Hans-Peter Bartels said the Navy is “running out of deployment-capable ships”.

The Thyssenkrupp spokesman added: “We are confident that we will be able to promptly solve the current problems with the IT-infrastructure thanks to our proven experience in the construction of complex naval vessels.

I thought this is great news for Little Britain, at least psychologically it is a relief, the title should be Angela Merkel's Syria, not Germany
