North Korean state media has praised US presidential hopeful Donald Trump describing him as a “wise politician” and “far-sighted candidate” who could help unify the Korean peninsula.

An editorial in DPRK Today an official media outlet welcomed the Republican presidential candidate’s proposal to hold direct talks with Kim Jong-un saying he could help bring about Pyongyang’s “Yankee go home” policy.

朝鲜官方媒体“今日朝鲜”发表社论，欢迎共和党总统候选人与金正恩进行直接会谈的提议，称川普可帮助朝鲜推行“美国佬滚回家”的政策。

“There are many positive aspects to Trump’s ‘inflammatory policies’” wrote Han Yong-mook who described himself as a Chinese North Korean scholar.

“Trump said he will not get involved in the war between the South and the North isn’t this fortunate from North Korea’ perspective?”

Analysts said that although the editorial was not officially from Pyongyang it was sure to reflect thinking inside the regime.

Sadly every 33 minutes a South Korean commits suicide from loneliness and the pressures of Capitalism consumption economic model on steroids and the elderly live in slums. I've been to Seoul an it is the pits and would rather retire in Pyonyang where community and traditional family values appear to be the norm. Reality could be different ofcourse and you won't be able to afford life necessities the latest 1000 dollar Iphone ofcourse. We have an actual North Korean in our midst! If you thin Seoul is the pits then you have not been to Seoul. Nor South Korea if you think elderly live in slums. And if you've stepped anywhere outside of Pyongyang - which you haven't because you're not allowed to - you would see that it's far from all about community and family values.

Admittedly the North Koreans are right. Everywhere there is a U.S. base stokes conflict in that region so as to load up the warring countries with debt and install a Wall Street Rothschild central bank. It's all about 'foreclosures' of land and resources - Vietnam in 1960s South America Europe World War 1 and 2 Ukraine Africa and so on.

Seems Kim sometimes approves of the concept of "voting for a leader". Should Trump get his way I'm confident the S Koreans will find the money to replace US forces on the peninsula; probably build their own Nukes too. Probably be happy to use them too.Is that what Kim wants?

I read in the paper that Kim Jong-un is in favour of the UK leaving the EU.
I first saw the story in the Sun and thought it must be a load of old bollocks but later it was in the Express so it must be true.

The DPRK isn't endorsing Trump but it's obvious that his rhetoric regarding pulling troops out of SK and making the South Koreans carry their own weight has raised quite a bit of interest in Northern military/political circles. The main thing with the DPRK is the the withdrawal of the invasion army stationed at its borders since the 1950s not the domestic situation in the United States.
