A knifeman was arrested when he confessedto killing at least 19 people and injuring 45 in a stabbing frenzy at a centrefor the mentally disabled in Japan.

Satoshi Uematsu, 26, walked into a police station 30minutes after the attack and said 'I did it', Japanese media reported.
