A mother in China has been blasted for taking her naked daughter shopping.

中国一母亲因带裸体女儿去购物而遭到人们严厉批评。

The woman was spotted with the child at a supermarket in Xinyang City, central China's Henan province on August 13, reports the People's Daily Online. 

8月13号人们看到这对母女出现在河南信阳的一家超市里，人民网报道。



Pictures of the young girl, thought to be around two-years-old, have caused outrage on the country's social media sites. 

这名2岁大小的女孩子的裸体照片在中国社交媒体上引得了人们的愤怒。

The young girl was spotted in a supermarket with her mother and was photographed by shocked onlookers. 

这名小女孩和妈妈一起出现在了超市里，震惊的旁人拍下了这些照片。

quite odd behaviour but only abuse if you place it within western cultural norms. i'm not sure that people outside of our culture automatically look at a two yr old sexually like we seem to do.

I think it is a form of child abuse. I'd prefer that people don't take their daughters shopping in the nude before the age of 17 or so.
