A baby in Ningbo, China, is set to havesome digits removed after he was born with 15 fingers and 16 toes.

中国宁波一个男婴出生时就有15根手指和16根脚趾将进行手术。



The child, nicknamed Yuanyuan, has 31digits in total and was born without thumbs or big toes, reports the People'sDaily Online.

人民网报道，这个小名圆圆的孩子出生时没有大拇指和大脚趾，但总共有31根手指和脚趾。



Doctors are in the process of removing theextra digits and reshaping the child's remaining digits over three stages ofoperations.
